New Police Chief Sworn In Monday
Danny Barton will take over for Chief Mac Tristan who retired.
COPPELL, TX -- The City of Coppell swore in a new police chief Monday evening following the retirement of Mac Tristan. Danny Barton was selected as his replacement following a pre-screening, panel interviews, and a one-on-one interview with city manager Mike Land, according to the Coppell Gazette.
“After rigorous evaluation, we are confident that Danny is the perfect fit for police chief and for the city of Coppell,” Land said, according to the Coppell Gazette. “Danny has a great vision for our community and the Police Department, and we look forward to working with him to bring that vision to fruition.”
