"SO! Here's the scoop. We have the warrant and we are letting all of our besties know what you've been up to," the department's post read.

SOUTHLAKE, TX — In a North Texas town sandwiched between Dallas and Fort Worth, one police department is getting some time in the limelight for a now-viral Facebook post that spurred several spirited reactions on the social site.

Police took a clever approach to finding Crystal Finley, a woman wanted on a warrant for identity fraud, and penned a letter that had been shared more than 2,000 times within the first hour it was posted on Facebook.

"What’s been up?! We’ve obvi been looking all over for you! You’ve been laying low since we last saw you, which was using an innocent Southlake victim’s identity to open up credit cards in person at a ton of stores in the metroplex," the cheeky post read, in part.
