Police Seek Person Of Interest In Sexual Assault Near Coppell

Dallas police ask for the public's help identifying a person of interest they say has information about a sexual assault near Coppell.

DALLAS, TX — Authorities in Dallas are asking for help identifying a man they say might have information about a sexual assault offense that occurred near Coppell. Police report the assault happened Dec. 7 in the 3200 block of Scotch Creek Road in Dallas.

The victim, an unidentified woman, was sexually assaulted in her apartment, police say. The Dallas Morning News reports the apartment is located in the Cypress Waters development.

The attacker ran from the woman's apartment after the assault and is still at large, The News reported. The woman was unable to give police a detailed description of her attacker.

Police released the below picture of a man they say might have information relating to the assault.
