Tech Expert To Talk Cyber Security At Biz U In Coppell

COPPELL, TX — Join the Coppell Chamber of Commerce for Biz U on Wednesday, Aug. 8, to learn more on cyber security and how to protect your business.

Our guest speaker will be Reese Ormand, CEO of Techvera, one of Denton’s fastest growing technology firms.

He grew up in the business, having started in 2001 as a technician for Geek on Wheels, a computer repair shop founded by his father.

After nine years behind the repair bench and learning the ins and outs of the business, Ormand bought the company and put his own unique spin on it. He assembled a team of technology experts, reinvented its business model, quadrupled revenue, and built a name in the industry in the process.

In 2016, Ormand re-branded Geeks on Wheels as Techvera to better align with the firm’s new business model and vision for the future. Techvera now specializes in providing turn-key IT management to small businesses.
