Temperatures In Coppell To Plunge Below Freezing Overnight
Coppell residents could see temperatures as low as 29 degrees Thursday night into Friday morning. Prepare your home for the freeze.
COPPELL, TX — Residents in Coppell should prepare for a hard freeze that's expected to bring temperatures down to 29 degrees overnight. Outdoor pets and sensitive plants should be brought indoors, and exposed pipes and spigots should be covered.
Residents in Dallas and Fort Worth will experience a milder freeze, but temperatures as cold as 18 degrees are possible for areas west of Dallas.
Although precipitation was low Thursday, some roads and bridges might be icy during Friday morning's commute. Temperatures will rise Friday to 51 degrees, and skies are expected to be clear.
