100 Best Public High Schools in Texas: New Rankings

Liberal Arts & Science Academy in Austin is Texas' best public high school for 2019, according to a new set of rankings released by Niche.com this week. The rankings were released as part of Niche’s 2019 K-12 rankings.

The School of Science & Engineering and the School for the Talented & Gifted in Dallas, Carnegie Vanguard High School in Houston, and Westlake High School in Austin closed out the top five spots in the state.

According to Niche, the best public high school in the country is Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora, Illinois.
