Baby Among 3 Dead In U.S. 380 Crash Near Rockhill Road In Denton
Two children, including a 12-month-old baby, were among those killed in a crash that shut the highway down in both directions.
DENTON, TX — At least three people were killed in a crash on U.S. 380 in Denton before noon on Sunday, according to several news outlets. Two of the fatal victims were children, including a 12-month-old, according to reports.
Police officials told WFAA and other news outlets a 5-year-old and 12-month-old were among those who died from the crash that occurred around noon. One adult also died, and three others were wounded, WFAA reported, citing Denton police.
Two of the injured adults have been hospitalized in critical condition, as the third remained in stable condition early Sunday evening.

Two cars crashed head on, the Fort Worth-Star Telegram reported, and two other cars on the road were impacted. No one in the other two cars were injured, the report states.
The crash occurred in the westbound lanes near Rockhill Road, according to WFAA. Both the westbound and eastbound lanes of U.S. 380 were shut down for hours after the crash.

One lane in each direction had reopened by later in the afternoon, according to WFAA.
The identities of the three fatal victims weren't released as of 5:30 p.m.
