Brutally Abused Dog Collects More Than $500 In Donations
Holton was found Monday in one of the worst conditions Dallas DogRRR, an animal rescue organization, has ever seen.
DALLAS, TX — It only took an hour for an animal rescue organization in Dallas to raise more than $500 for a brutally abused dog found Monday. Holton was found Monday by Dallas DogRRR in one of the worst conditions executive director Patti Dawson has seen in four years.
Holton is emaciated, has almost no teeth left, and a left leg that was shattered by a bullet and which healed incorrectly, Dallas DogRRR wrote on Facebook Thursday. The dog was found in a common dumping ground for unwanted pets in Terrel, Dawson told Patch.
"I was mortified over his condition," Dawson said. "I would rank him as one of the worst dogs I've ever seen. It's heartbreaking."
