A new sandwich joint is lighting up Deep Ellum this fall. The Tempe, Arizona-based Cheba Hut is set to open on Monday, Sept. 21.

Cheba Hut offers marijuana-themed sandwiches and cocktails. Guests can order uniquely-named subs like the white widow, containing grilled chicken breast smothered in Cheba’s signature ranch dressing, mushrooms, bacon and provolone. Another sandwich is the kali mist, which is made with roasted turkey breast, chipotle mayo, fresh jalapeños, bacon, pepper jack and avocado.

Guests can also customize their own sandwiches, with sizes from the four-inch “nug,” the eight-inch “pinner” and the 12-inch “blunt.” Additionally, guests can order “munchies,” or appetizers they can share among friends. Munchies include the loaded not’chos and pretzel nuggets.

For cocktails, one can loosen up with the bloody mary jane or the dirty hippie, the latter of which is made with fresh cucumbers, lime and Deep Eddy vodka.
