Learn how the city’s budget is created and provide comments on the 2022 budget process during a Budget 101 meeting from 6:30-7:30 p.m. July 15 in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 200 Texas St.

Staff is currently working on the proposed budget that will be presented to City Council on Aug. 10. This public meeting will allow residents to find out more about the budget process.

Besides the in-person meeting, residents may watch the meeting live on Fort Worth TV, either onlineon TV or on Facebook.  Residents can also watch the recorded meeting via the Fort Worth City Hall YouTube channel or the Fort Worth TV video library after the meeting is complete.

Anyone wishing to ask a question during the meeting can sign up to speak when they arrive. Signup will begin 30 minutes before the meeting starts, in the lobby outside the Council Chamber.

During the meeting, text or phone your questions and comments to 817-682-6039. Before, during and after the meeting, residents can also provide feedback and ask questions via email. 

Staff will present the questions that are submitted by email or phone so they can be answered during the broadcast. Any questions that are not answered during the meeting will be posted online with the corresponding answer.
