“The APHA has been a great partner to us in our ongoing developments and our commitment to elevating the western lifestyle experiences in the Stockyards,” said Craig Cavileer, managing partner of Stockyards Heritage Development Co. “With our new Hotel Drover and Mule Alley as the official entertainment district of the APHA, we further solidify our position in this special community.”

For 2021, the APHA plans to introduce a Sunday Barrel Racing and Breakaway Roping Series, the second annual Cowgirl Gathering and the new Reunion de Vaquero, all of which take place throughout the Fort Worth Stockyards and Cowtown Coliseum. The goal of the partnership is to develop new and exciting public events, provide growth and opportunity in the national and international equine industry, and promote and preserve Fort Worth’s exceptional western heritage and contemporary cowboy culture.
