Dallas Hasn't Been This Cold Since The Last Pandemic
April records were shattered across the Lone Star State this morning as Texans awoke to the biggest chill in a century
Wait: What month is it?
Dallasites awoke this morning to find temperatures hovering around the freezing mark. At 37, it beats the last coldest April 22 by two degrees, according to Spectrum News Meteorologist Mary Wasson. That record was set in 1918 — when Americans were battling World War I and the Spanish Flu.
The cold front, on its way east, left Texans still recovering from February with an unpleasant reminder. In Waco, the 37-degree low beat the old one by six degrees and 110 years.
