DFW Airport Offers A Swanky New Way To Fly, But It Will Cost You
American Airlines' "Five Star Essentials" promises to ease your way back into air travel with a little help at the ground level.

DALLAS, TX —American Airlines, the carrier based out of Fort Worth, wants to make your re-entry to air travel a little more breezy.
They're introducing a service called "Five Star Essentials" as a way to take the stress out of arrivals, check-ins and getting to your designated gate with minimal hassle.
At the moment, the service is only available at three airports in the country: Miami International (MIA), Charlotte Douglas International (CLT) and DFW.

• An escort who greets you at Priority Check in, and offers assistance to check baggage and checking in for flights, as well as seat selection.
• Guides you through the priority security lane to ensure you, your luggage and your party all remain organized and together.
• a helpmate who escorts you through the airport until you're at your designated gate.
The service is not just for first class travelers, the airline reps say. You can be a coach traveler and still get their VIP treatment.
The service begins this week, and fees begin at $149 for two adults with children and pets. Reservations should be made in advance of the flight by 72 hours, and AAdvantage members can use their miles in booking.
