DFW Named Nation's 7th Best Summer Vacation Destination

DALLAS, TX — Summer vacation is the time to leave your regular routine behind and have a new experience. Luckily, the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is full of new experiences for locals and out-of-towners alike.

A WalletHub study took a look at the nation's 100 largest cities and named the North Texas Metroplex the nation's No. 7 summer vacation destination.

The Metroplex was named the nation's best locale for cheap flights. Only a few spots down, it was also deemed the country's third best locale for Travel Costs & Hassles.

Houston was named the nation's No. 10 best city for summer vacation, and San Antonio landed at No. 17.
