The Eagles christened the venue as its very first event in July 2001. They have performed in the arena 10 times — more than any other artist.

To be sure, it will be a packed house of devout fans in Dallas. The city is one of only six others on the band's anticipated "Hotel California 2020 Tour." From Atlanta, it will travel to New York, Dallas, Houston and San Francisco before wrapping in Los Angeles April 18.

The current tour was inspired by a celebrated Las Vegas performance in September 2019, when the group performed their 1976 album, "Hotel California," in its entirety. The tour brings these highly acclaimed performances across the United States. Each night's concert includes a set of the record accompanied by a full orchestra and choir, followed up by a second set of the brand's top hits. Shows begin each night at 8 p.m. and feature a short intermission.

The Eagles hold a celebrated spot on Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. The group is one of the world's best-selling bands and have sold more than 200 million records worldwide.

Fans in Dallas will be able to celebrate that legacy on Feb. 29 and March 1 at American Airlines at 8 p.m. Tickets are still available, but seats for this once-in-a-lifetime show are sure to go fast.

Tickets start at $234, and you can save 10 percent with the code "PatchTickets10."
