Father, Son Graduate From Police Academy Together

Winston and Christian Edmondson hope to inspire others to go into law enforcement.

FORT WORTH, TX — A father and son have graduated from a Texas police academy together. Winston and Christian Edmondson have always been competitive, the two said in a KTVT report, and said the local academy gave them a new bond.

"For the last 5 months we've been getting up at 4:30am and driving to Fort Worth together," Winston, the father, wrote on Facebook. He told KTVT his decision to go into law enforcement was a long time coming.

"And I had been encouraging both my sons to get into law enforcement," he said.
