FORT WORTH, TX — Country music star George Strait is bringing his 2019 tour the new Dickies Arena in Fort Worth. Strait was the first announced event for the arena, located at Harley Avenue and Gendy Street.

The two-night show Nov. 22 and 23 comes as Strait plans to reissue his 72-song boxed set, "Strait out of the Box: Part 1" on Sept. 13. The collection of songs, to be sold exclusively at Walmart more than two decades after its original release, includes songs from 1976 to 1995.

Strait's Texas stop follows stadium shows in Foxborough, Massachusetts and Las Vegas. The 67-year-old will also travel to Wichita, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri.

Strait has been nominated for 16 Grammy Awards in his illustrious career, most recently for best country album in 2011 for "Here For A Good Time." In 2008, Strait won a Grammy for best country album for his album "Troubadour."
