Personal finance website WalletHub has determined that Texas has the 36th cheapest car insurance in the U.S. The report was compiled using 206,974 quotes is collected across 47 states, WalletHub said in a news release.

Nevada was ranked 35th and Oregon ranaked 37th. The state with the cheapest insurance was Iowa followed by Vermont. The states at the bottom of the list were New York and Florida.
