It's A Boy! 'Fixer Upper' Family Reveals Big News

Chip Gaines indicated in a video shared on Twitter that the baby boy's name will start with the letter D.

WACO, TX — One of America's most popular 0n-camera couples made a big announcement Wednesday — perhaps by accident. In a video shared on Twitter, Chip Gaines let slip that the couple's soon-to-be-born child is a boy.

In the video, Chip is seen talking to a young, 'Fixer Upper' superfan named Gage. Chip asks Gage to help him think of a name starting with the letter D.

"This is important. I can't think of a 'D' name. can you help me think of a 'D' name?"

As the video goes on, Chip lets the gender slip before seemingly second guessing his choice of words.

"Listen to me; it's a little boy and I need a 'D' name. So far all I can come up with is Dragon," he said. He later added, "is that a secret? I don't know... "

Chip and Joanna haven't made an official announcement about the gender, but it's safe to say Chip seems genuinely excited.

Country Living dug into a cryptic clue from Chip and estimated the baby is scheduled to be born sometime in the middle of July.

The Gaines family consists of parents Chip and Joanna and four kids named Drake, 12; Ella Rose, 11; Duke, 9; and Emmie Kay, 7.

The couple announced an end to their hit TV show in September 2016, but, according to a report from FOX News, they are preparing to release a 15-episode series that takes a look at behind-the-scenes aspects of each existing episode of 'Fixer Upper.'
