Journey, The Pretenders Set For Dallas 2020: Tickets Available
Dallas will host Journey and The Pretenders on their mega stadium and amphitheater tour across North America.

Heading out in 2020 for over 60 shows, Journey and Chrissie Hynde with The Pretenders launch their North American tour in Ridgefield on May 12, with a final performance in Bethel on Sept. 12. Journey is the band behind multiple hit singles, with “Don’t Stop Believin’” at the top of the list in 1981 when Steve Perry was the lead vocalist.
Journey now consists of original founding members Neal Schon on lead guitar and Ross Valory on bass, joined by Steve Smith on drums, keyboardist Jonathan Cain, and lead vocals with Arnel Pineda. While the band hasn’t put out a new studio album since the release of “Eclipse” in 2011, they continue to play live shows for fans around the world, winning a Billboard Touring Award for their contributions to live music.

The Pretenders have their own following, with Chrissie Hynde still leading the band since 1978. Her lead vocals and song writing talents have earned the band a name not only in rock but also in new wave, punk, and pop.
Cain from Journey says he’s excited to be on tour with Hynde — “I mean, she is ageless, kind of like [Heart‘s] Ann Wilson. You hear her and think, yeah, still sounds like the record.”
The concert is anticipated to be a trip down memory lane, with Journey playing fan favorites and classics such as “Wheel In The Sky” and “Open Arms.” The Pretenders will add their own hits to the night with “Brass In Pocket” and “Middle Of The Road.”
