Must Be Love On The Plane: Sparks Fly On Dallas-Bound Flight

One Dallas woman and her husband played matchmaker on a flight, and the result will make you smile.

DALLAS, TX — Although it may be an overstatement to claim that this pair of North Texas airline passengers found love in a hopeless place, one woman's twitter thread shone bright like a diamond this week as she chronicled the touching moment when the two people sitting in front of her on a Dallas-bound flight sent sparks flying.

And while it's not yet known if the man kissed the woman on the airport sidewalk or took away her pain, it's clear that this potential love story is straight from a Taylor Swift ballad.

Rosey Blair, the proud purveyor of a now-viral Twitter thread, may have struck up a match made in heaven — or at least 35,000 feet above earth, but only time will tell if wedding bells await the subjects of the viral sensation.

Here's what happened. Blair and her husband boarded a plane from New York to Dallas. And since the couple didn't have assigned seats, Blair asked a woman to switch seats with her so she could sit next to her husband.

"We made a joke that maybe her new seat partner would be the love of her life and well, now I present you with this thread," Blair wrote on Twitter.

And quite the thread it was. Blair and her husband chronicled the new seat-mates' meet cute over the course of the flight.

It started innocently enough, the couple making small talk over their mutual love of fitness, and quickly escalated.

Blair continued posting photos of the couple, their faces marked out, and speculated whether or not the man would buy the woman a drink (he didn't, but they did share a protein-packed cheese plate). The thread continued with photos of the couple rubbing elbows, discussing their jobs and talking about their moms.

Eventually, Blair captures the moment when the couple seem to take a trip to the lavatory together.

And while the fate of the couple remains unknown, the man's identity was made public with this tweet.

Once the internet discovered that the man, Euan Holden, was shockingly handsome, he got his very own hashtag. Holden, known now as #PlaneBae, has been cryptic about his new relationship, but some subtle clues on his Twitter account suggest the couple is still in touch.

The Twitter thread may have ended, but the public's infatuation with the story has not. In fact, various Twitter users who have experienced similar airplane meet cutes have taken to the thread to share their own experiences.

The world may never know if #PlaneBae and his seat mate ended up together, but at least the 889,376 people who liked Blair's tweet got to enjoy a moment straight from a rom-com.
