New Lyft, Uber Pick Up Zones Established In Deep Ellum
The new program will provide rideshare operators access to drop off and pick up zones within 1 to 2 blocks from Deep Ellum.

A series of designated drop off and pick up zones for Uber and Lyft have been created in Deep Ellum. The program, spearheaded by the Deep Ellum Foundation, will help ease congestion, related public safety concerns and to improve the customer experience in Deep Ellum, the Dallas Police Department said in a news release.
"The designated zones will provide rideshare operators access to drop off and pick up zones within 1 to 2 blocks from the core activity in Deep Ellum. This will improve traffic flow and emergency vehicle access," DPD said Tuesday.
This program is scheduled to begin Thursday, April 18, and will be in effect 24 hours, 7 days per week.
