Pro Wrestling, The Original Reality Show, Returns To Dallas
No faking. Professional Wrestling is set to return to the ring in the metroplex.

DALLAS — Denton is known either for its superlative music program at North Texas or that famous family of wrestlers, the Von Erichs, depending on your perspective.
But when COVID-19 took America to the mat in 2020, the third generation of Von Erichs were among the professionals temporarily body slammed out of business. In fact, pro wrestling under the auspices of Major League Wrestling (MLW) hasn't been seen in the metroplex since last May.
But the MLW brass promised that their return would be a big and splashy event worth the wait, and their new start date has just been announced.

Fans should expect that there will still be some COVID-19 precautions in place for the event, although precisely what those will be have not yet been determined. MLW officials say that they intend to comply with whatever regulations are in place, although they do expect to sell tickets to capacity. Final safety protocols for the event will be made public a month or so in advance, they say.
The big question: Will there be Von Erichs in the ring? The answer is yes. Marshall Adkisson and brother Ross, the third-generation inheritors of the family wrestling legacy (and former MLW tag team champs) are scheduled to see action at the September taping.
