Temperatures In Plano Will Drop Below Freezing Overnight
Another band of cold air will push temperatures in Plano down to 28 degrees overnight. Make sure you're prepared.
PLANO, TX — Residents in Plano should begin to prepare outdoor plants, pets and pipes ahead of a deep freeze that will hit the area around 11:00 p.m. Some areas in the Metroplex will see temperatures as low as 18 degrees, but Plano residents should expect a milder 28 degrees.
Other residents in Dallas and Fort Worth will experience a milder freeze, but temperatures as cold as 28 degrees are possible.
Although precipitation was low Thursday, some roads and bridges might be icy during Friday morning's commute. Temperatures will rise Friday to 51 degrees, and skies are expected to be clear.
