Woman Dies In Vehicle Crash On Walton Walker Boulevard

DALLAS, TX - A 58-year-old woman died Friday morning on Walton Walker Boulevard after her vehicle left the roadway and overturned, police said. The woman was identified by police as Anna Rodriguez.

Rodriguez was traveling northbound on Walton Walker Boulevard from the Davis Street ramp when she swerved to avoid a box in the right lane, according to police. She lost control of her 2004 Ford Expedition. She remained in the SUV and died at the scene from head trauma, police said.

Her husband was a passenger in the front seat and suffered minor injuries. He was transported to Methodist Central, police said.
