1 Dead, Another Injured In South Austin Shooting
One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting in South Austin on Sunday, authorities said.
AUSTIN, TX — One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting in South Austin on Sunday, Austin police said.
Police received a 911 call around 12:30 a.m. Sunday after a shooting incident at a birthday party on 11500 block of Robert Wooding Drive, authorities told reporters in a news conference Sunday morning.
Officials said a person was pronounced dead at the scene after officers attempted life-saving measures. A man was taken to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries. Police did not provide any more details on the two victims.

Authorities said there are no suspects in custody, and believe the event to be an isolated incident. Austin police will continue its investigation.
"At this time, homicide investigators are asking the multiple witnesses at the event come forward and contact APD with any information they may have," police said.
