'Armed Intruder' Threat Cleared On St. Edward's Campus: Police
St. Edward's University on Saturday issued a shelter-in-place order for individuals on campus, according to campus police.
AUSTIN, TX — St. Edward's University police have lifted a shelter-in-place order after investigating reports of an "armed intruder" on campus Saturday, according to the university's campus safety Facebook page.
The all-clear was issued around 11 a.m. after the suspect, who was first spotted carrying a rifle as he walked from a parking garage toward an on-campus apartment area, was seen walking eastbound off-campus, toward Interstate 35.
In an earlier Facebook post, police described the suspect as a dark-skinned male with shaggy brown hair. He had a thin build and was wearing a white shirt.

University police and the Austin Police Department are investigating.
Residents are asked to report additional suspicious activity by calling 512-448-8444 or by dialing 911.
