Audiences Invited To Summer Performance Of Little Shop Of Horrors

AUSTIN, TX—This summer, Austin audiences are invited to enjoy the cult classic "Little Shop of Horrors" presented by the talented theatre troupe of Zilker Theatre Productions. Experience the wildly popular musical play that inspired the motion picture starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin.

Get to know the quiet and misunderstood flower shop assistant Seymour, as he pines for the love of his coworker, Audrey, while being forced to endure daily humiliation brought on by the shop's owner, Mr. Mushnik. Set in Skid Row, Seymour comes across an unknown plant and names it Audrey II, but quickly realizes the plant may be more than he can handle. Audrey II begins to crave the taste of blood and steadily grows more and more after every feast. Hilarity ensues when the plant grows so big, Seymour is barely able to keep up and mysterious disappearances in Skid Row begin to be reported.
