Austin Humane Society Kicks Off Summer With Summer Kids Series

AUSTIN, TX—The Austin Humane Society is kicking off summer with its annual event celebrating kids and the world of animals. Summer Kids Series 2021, now in its ninth year, returns with summertime fun welcoming Humane Heroes on adventures and discovery!

The virtual, hands-on educational sessions will be held all summer long through Saturday, August 7. Join “Austin Humane Society Humane Heroes Group” on Facebook, where you'll find all the activities to keep even the youngest animal lovers entertained. Sessions will also be broadcast on our YouTube channel.

Participants will receive all the supplies needed to complete each month's craft-making sessions, and great goodies to enjoy. Coffee Theory will be parked at the shelter, and the community is invited to grab a snack and a cup of coffee as you stop by to pick up your supplies.
