The optional classes will be taught by Austin ISD Spanish language teachers and will focus on learning conversational Spanish in an education and relationship-building context. Classes will meet virtually at least once per week between one and two hours and will have about 15 minutes per day of asynchronous activities between classes.

To create the best learning experience possible, we are surveying staff to learn their needs. Classes are anticipated to begin in July, and there is a limited number of spaces available for the first round of classes. The duration of the courses will be determined after staff surveys have been received and reviewed.

Interested staff must submit the interest survey no later than June 16th.  After the survey closes, the Spanish language classes team will review the surveys and make contact via email with interested staff. Thank you for supporting our students and modeling lifelong learning.
