"Cool Moves" Offers Rewards To Kids Practicing Every Day Safety

The Pflugerville Police Department invite area children to be safe and if observed will be given a ticket or reward to receive a treat.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX—The Pflugerville Police Department is back at it this summer, and will be rewarding area children for being safe. "Cool Moves" is an initiative that promotes safety among children, such as looking both ways before crossing the street, wearing a helmet while riding a bike or skateboard, using hand signals while riding a bike and using crosswalks.

"Cool Moves" runs all summer long through August 31, and Pflugerville Police who observe children practicing these safety practices will receive a ticket to reward them with a treat from participating partners, including Dairy Queen, Andy's Frozen Custard, and Blue Bell Ice Cream.
