Driver Critically Injured After Crashing Into Bridge In E. Austin
The collision between the 1900 and 3000 block of Ed Bluestein Boulevard Tuesday left an adult motorist with life-threatening.injuries.
EAST AUSTIN, TX — A driver was critically injured in North Austin after colliding with a bridge late Tuesday, medics said.
Austin-Travis County EMS medics were dispatched to a stretch of northbound highway frontage road between the 1900 and 3000 block of Ed Bluestein Boulevard just before 10 p.m., officials reported via Twitter. Once there, medics reported the process of extricating the injured driver from the wreckage.
The adult patient was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with injuries reported as critical and life-threatening. Neither the age nor gender of the crash victim were disclosed.
