AUSTIN, TX — A traffic fatality on East U.S. 290 prompted partial road closings, police said early Friday.
The fatal collision occurred along the 9400 block of East U.S. 290, according to a police tweet issued just before 4 a.m. The collision occurred from the 9200 block of U.S. 290 to the 9500 of the key artery, police added.
Police were not immediately forthcoming with further details, but indicated they would stage a news conference to provide further information.
