Larger Than Life Paint By Numbers Celebrates Pride Month

The City of Austin and the Dougherty Arts Center will host a community-wide painting project to create a mural celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride.

AUSTIN, TX—In honor of LGBTQ+ Pride Month, the community is invited to the Dougherty Arts Center and Austin Public Library sites as they host, Paint with Pride —an opportunity to share pride and community in Austin. The Public Painting Project will be held Saturdays in June through Saturday, June 25 and all are welcome to the free event to participate in a larger than life "paint by numbers" mural in celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.

The upcoming event will be held Saturday, June 12 from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. at St. John Branch located at 7500 Blessing Ave., Austin, TX 78752. For more information, call (512) 974-7570 or to register click HERE.
