The officers and Austin-Travis County EMS attempted life-saving measures on the man, but were unsuccessful. The man was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:29 p.m., authorities said.

Police later identified the man as Travis Ray Clements.

Authorities said the couple had driven to the location along with their three children to meet with Lilley.

During the meeting, shots were fired striking both Clements and the woman. The children were taken to family by crisis counselor and the woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, officials said.

On Sunday, the Travis County Medical Examiner's office concluded from an autopsy Clement's cause of death was due to multiple gunshot wounds and ruled his death a homicide.

Police issued a murder warrant and arrested Lilley on Tuesday. Authorities said once his booking photo becomes available, it will be released.
