Mother's Day Picnic Celebrates Mom Amid Music And Wildflowers

AUSTIN, TX—This Mother's Day, show mom how important she is with a memorable outdoor outing set to a classical music serenade among the Hill Country wildflowers. Mother’s Day Picnic With Austin Symphony at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center lets you enjoy a string quartet from the Austin Symphony performing a selection of seasonal tunes in the spacious Family Garden.

Attendees will have the opportunity to spread out their blankets and enjoy the sights and sounds of the special event. The quartet will perform from 11 a.m. until noon, and is included in the price of admission. Capacity is limited, and admission is by reservation only. Scheduled Sunday, May 9 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., and picnics are able to pre-ordered for grab-and-go ease from Wildflower Café.
