Paul McCartney To Headline Austin City Limits Festival
Former Beatles band member will be joined by Metallica Childish Gambino, Arctic Monkeys, Houston rapper Travis Scott and Odesza.

AUSTIN, TX — The lineup for the Austin Music Festival has been announced, and you might be familiar with the headliner. After weeks of rumors, organizers confirmed Tuesday that Paul McCartney will be the marquee act for both weekends of the concert series at Zilker Park this fall.
Also playing will be legendary rock band Metallica — news of which was leaked during a Facebook Live post on Monday night. Childish Gambino, Arctic Monkeys, Houston rapper Travis Scott and electronica sensation Odesza will also perform.
A member of a band called the Beatles you may also have heard of, McCartney is the biggest get for the ACL Festival in years. He last performed in Austin at the Erwin Center in May 2013, while Metallica is playing at the festival for the first time for both artists' only North American festival appearances this year at ACL Fest. The festival runs Oct. 5-7 and Oct. 12-14. Weekend passes, $255 plus fees (layaway plans also offered), are available via the festival’s website.
