In June, crews will open the newly constructed eastbound bridge to allow two-way traffic over I-35 during construction of the westbound bridge.

In the meantime, drivers wishing to access westbound Ronald Reagan from northbound I-35 will have to exit Bud Stockton Loop (274), and U-turn at the intersection to the southbound frontage road.

For southbound I-35 traffic, those who are heading to eastbound County Road 311 will use exit 270 and U-turn at the County Road 143 intersection to proceed northbound on the frontage road.

Road signs have been placed to alert drivers of the upcoming closures, officials said.

TxDOT asks the public to be patient and remain aware when traveling through the work zone. To learn more about the I-35 at Ronald Reagan Boulevard project, visit My35Construction.org.
