Multiple South Austin Businesses Damaged In Stassney Lane Fire
Firefighters responded to the fire at 512 West Stassney Lane in South Austin Friday morning.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — Several South Austin businesses were affected by smoke after a fire at Stassney Square Friday morning that started in a nail salon, according to the Austin Fire Department.
Firefighters said the blaze was accidental but the nail salon suffered an estimated $50,000 worth of structural damage and $10,000 worth of damage to contents.
The Metro PCS store suffered $5,000 in damages while five other business suffered a combined $6,000 in damages, firefighters said.

No injuries were reported in the fire that broke out at 512 West Stassney Lane.
The fire was knocked down around 10 a.m.
