Special Olympics Texas Invites All to 'A Very Special Celebration'

SOTX hosts its second annual fundraiser featuring beer, wine, a silent auction and the announcement of the 2017 Toyota Tundra raffle.

DOWNTOWN AUSTIN-UT, TX - Special Olympics Texas is inviting the public to its second annual A Very Special Celebration. This "elegant cocktail affair" will have hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, live and silent auctions.

You can purchase tickets online. All proceeds will go directly to SOTX's capital campaign which is 92 percent complete. The first part of the evening will consist of the silent auction, from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m., followed by a live auction and the pulling of the winning raffle ticket for a 2017 Toyota Tundra model 1794 Edition. Tickets for the Toyota Tundra raffle can be purchased online.

In 2015, SOTX completed construction on its state-of-art headquarter office in Austin. The second annual A Very Special Celebration will celebrate the milestone and aim to further the completion of the capital campaign, which launched in 2014 to pay for The Christi Stanley Building.
Thanks to the generous donations from community members and friends and families of people with intellectual disabilities, SOTX is now in a position to build financial equity in the building, while being able to maximize the impact of all donations on its ability to support program services.
