AUSTIN, TX — Easter is around the corner, which means it's almost time to dress in your Sunday best, grab the kids and those colorful egg baskets for the annual spring hunt.

If you're not sure where to take the kiddos this year, no worries. There are plenty of Easter egg hunts across the Austin-Metro, some are by drive-thru and others give you the chance to participate in-person, with safe social distancing, of course.

Here's a list of hunts in your neighborhood the whole family can enjoy this week for Easter.

Bridge Church Easter egg hunt in Hutto

747 County Road 138 in Hutto

Bridge Church will host an Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 3. The free event will feature a mechanical bull, bungee trampolines, bounce houses, inflatable obstacle courses and over 50,000 eggs.

Egg hunts will be divided by age group, so everyone gets a chance to fill up on eggs, officials said.

Easter egg hunt in Leander

1291 E Woodview Dr. in Leander

Leander Marketplace will host an Easter egg hunt from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 3. Egg hunts will take place at three different times: 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

The free event will include games, face paintings and prizes. Bottled water will be available for free, while supplies last.

Easter egg hunt 2021 at Sweet Eats Fruit Farm in Georgetown

14400 East State Highway 29 in Georgetown

Sweet Eats Fruit Farm will host half-hour Easter egg hunts from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday. A quiet hunt for children with special needs will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday. Adult Easter egg hunt at Jourdan-Bachman Pioneer Farms in Austin

Easter isn't just for the kiddies. Jourdan-Bachman Pioneer Farms will host an adult-only (at night) Easter egg hunt from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday.

The event will feature live performances from The Swingsters, an in-the-dark egg hunt that will require flashlights, eggs filled with prizes, gift certificates, a barbecue meal and take-home prizes. Visitors are encourages to bring a flashlight and egg basket. COVID-19 safety guidelines such as face masks, hand washing and social distancing will be enforced. Tickets are $25. Patrons must be 21 years old and older to participate.

Children's Easter egg hunt at Living Hope Church-Hutto in Hutto

Living Hope Church-Hutto will host an Easter egg hunt at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 3. The free event will also offer a soda ring toss game, photos with the Easter Bunny and cake walk for the kids. Breakfast tacos will be available for guests while supplies last.

The Montesori Inclusive School Easter egg hunt 2021 in Cedar Park

The Montesori Inclusive School will host an Easter egg hunt for the community from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 3. The event is free for Montesori Inclusive students and their families and $40 for the general public. Limited slots are available due to COVID-19.

Easter Egg Hunt at Pinballz locations in Austin

Locations: 13729 Research Blvd. and 8940 Research Blvd.

Pinballz will host an Easter egg hunt at both of its Austin locations at 11 a.m. (children 4 and under), 11:30 a.m. (children ages 5-8) and noon (children ages 9-12) on Friday, April 2. The kiddos are invited to bring their Easter baskets and hunt for colorful prize-filled Easter eggs and participate in Easter-themed crafts.

Drive-Thru Easter Egg Hunt in West Lake Hills

1460 Red Bud Trail in West Lake Hills

West Lake Hills UMC will host a drive-thru Easter egg hunt from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 3. The church will have 3-4 different egg hunt stations that would allow one car-full to pull up to the designated area, get out of their car, hunt in one specific area, not come into contact with anyone else, take a picture with the Easter Bunny and then get back into their car and head out.

The different egg hunt stations will be re-stocked as cars come through. The church will have 8 cars sign up for a 25-minute time block and plans to move 32 cars through in a 2-hour time frame. All participants are required to wear a mask. To sign up for a time slot, click HERE.
