Kathy Yaejl Lee (known simply as Yaeji global friends who are now legion) blends elements of house music and hip hop with hushed, mellow vocals intermittently in English and Korean. If you must categorize the genre, it's essentially house or trap music. But Yaeji's linguistic twist is singular, enabling her to stand firmly alone across the crowded musical landscape.
