Austin Java Opens 6th Site At Airport

Café in airport's cell phone lot, 2901 Spirit of Texas Dr., is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with meals tailored to travelers.

AUSTIN, TX — Austin Java officials are celebrating the opening of their sixth location at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

The newest café located in the airport's cell phone lot, 2901 Spirit of Texas Dr., is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in providing guests myriad ways of securing food and drink, including a drive thru, online, inside the place and at an outdoor window for grab and go orders.

Locally brewed since 1995, Austin Java has made a conscious decision with every opening to evolve their business model to reflect their community, company officials said, in valuing people over products. The airport location’s food menu has a concentration on accessibility featuring breakfast bowl options (Green Belt Bowl with herbed spiced sweet potatoes, spinach, Swiss cheese, and two scrambled egg whites), and classics like the Migas Bowl and breakfast tacos.

For lunch and dinner, a mixture of light and hearty options are offered (Grilled Chicken BLT – Tender Belly bacon, grilled marinated chicken breast, romaine lettuce, tomato, chipotle mayo) in addition to salads and blended fruit bowls. Staying consistent to the style of Austin Java’s popular items, the updated menu offers items that are fresh with a prepackaged ability. Also available is a Grab & Go Counter of pastries, soups and sides for those entering or leaving the airport on the run.

The sixth location features a wide array of coffee drinks made with coffee beans, primarily sourced from South America, and roasted daily at Austin Java’s in-house roasting facility in Dripping Springs, Texas, company officials said. In addition to Austin Java’s celebrated roast, there are coffee cocktails such as the Delayed Delight featuring Grand Marnier, honey, sweet condensed milk, and espresso. The location also offers happy hour Monday – Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. The happy hour menu consists of $12 mimosa carafes, $9 beer flights, $5 hard coffee signatures, and $5 pints.
