Austin Police Investigate Murder Of Woman Found Nude

Traumatized body of Nicole Diane Coleman, 23, was found dead along the 7000 block of Ed Bluestein Boulevard just before 6 p.m. on Dec. 31.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Police seek help from the public to find the culprits connected to the murder of a woman whose nude body was found at the end of 2018, officials said Thursday.

Nicole Diane Coleman, 23, was found dead along the 7000 block of Ed Bluestein Boulevard just before 6 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2018, according to a police advisory. Police said the woman's nude body displayed obvious trauma before the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide investigators spoke to witnesses and continue their investigation, officials said. To prevent compromising the integrity of the investigation, police said they are releasing limited information related to the case that has been ruled a homicide. The manner of death is being withheld as a result, officials added.

Anyone with information about this incident or who may have spoken recently with Nicole Coleman is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 512-472-TIPS or text "Tip 103" + the message to CRIMES or use the new Crime Stoppers App or email APD Homicide at homcide.apd@austintexas.gov. Those with information also can submit tips by downloading APD’s mobile app, Austin PD, for free on iPhoneand Android.

Police added that anyone submitting tips that could prove useful to their investigation can do so anonymously if preferred.
