Body Found After East Austin Fire Extinguished
Firefighters had put out a fire at 1505 Holly St. when they made the grim discovery of a deceased person inside the structure.
AUSTIN, TEXAS — Firefighters found a dead body inside a structure after responding to a blaze in East Austin on Friday.
Via Twitter just before 6:20 p.m., fire officials said the discovery was made at 1505 Holly St. It was there that fire crews found a deceased body inside the structure. Investigators continue to investigate the incident.

The Austin Fire Department originally reported no injuries had resulted from the fire before updating with news of the dead body found.
