East Austin Eatery Juniper To Offer Italian Al Fresco Dinner
Amid nice weather, your mind might transport you to visions of a 6-course, wine-paired dinner in Northern Italy. You can do it in Austin.

AUSTIN, TX — Except for the occasional downpour, the weather in Texas gets better this time of year, invoking visions of dining al fresco somewhere nice. You needn't look further than Juniper, which is offering a six-course, wine-pairing dinner celebrating Italian cuisine to start start the week ahead.
The upcoming special dinner hosted by Italian wine producer, Vigne del Malina on Monday, May 6, will feature a six-course meal paired with five wines with dishes that include a cold plate with raw oysters, peel-and-eat rosemary shrimp, and stone crab claws with sambuca mignonette and fresh tomato salsa; peach ricotta gnocchi with mint marigold in rose beurre blanc and lemon; buckwheat tagliatelle with confit duck ragu, brandied cherries, sage and poppy seeds, finished with espresso and amari served with various Italian cookies. Guests will be seated on the Juniper patio and enjoy courses presented “family style” and individually plated.
That's a mouthful, both literally and figuratively. A limited number of tickets are now available and can be purchased HERE.

Located between the two streams, the Malina and the Ellero, in Northern Italy, the vineyard Vigne del Malina has cultivated grapevines for centuries, Juniper officials noted in the interest of further context. "Convinced that wine is a natural product of plant origin, all Vigne del Malina’s wine offerings are certified vegan and cultivated using environmentally friendly methods," officials added. Roberto Bacchetti of Vigne del Malina will be present during this special gastronomical experience to speak further on the wines.
