East Austin's Pitchfork Pretty Launches 4-Part Dinner Series

East Austin restaurant known for garden-fresh produce and contemporary Hill Country cuisine.

EAST AUSTIN, TEXAS — Pitchfork Pretty, an award-winning, East Austin restaurant known for garden-fresh produce and contemporary Hill Country cuisine, will host a four-part dinner series set to debut this spring.

The eatery’s executive chef and partner, Max Snyder, will collaborate with four local libation-makers to create multi-course pairing menus showcasing fine beer and bourbon.

Dubbed Hill Country Hooch & Hops, the monthly supper series will kick off with Vista Brewing on Tuesday, March 26 and culminate with Garrison Brothers Distillery on Wednesday, June 12. Each dinner will be served family-style on the restaurant’s recently-completed veranda.

Only 30 seats are available for each dinner and tickets are specially priced at $75 per person, including tax and gratuity. The full series schedule is as follows:

Pitchfork Pretty, 2708 E. Cesar Chavez St., opened in June 2017 and quickly became an Austin mainstay, topping best new restaurant lists on the likes of Texas Monthly, the Austin American-Statesman, and Austin Monthly among others. StarChefs named Max Snyder a Rising Star, and Condé Nast Traveler called Pitchfork Pretty an “eclectic...departure from the expected.”

The restaurant’s menu incorporates seasonal ingredients sourced directly from Chef Max’s garden, located less than a mile from his kitchen. Snyder combines his experience in world class kitchens with thoughtful techniques and artful plating to create dishes that are simultaneously comfortable and familiar, yet elevated and refined. Guests can expect all that, and more from the spring dinner series.
