Govalle Park Paved Parking Lot To Close For Gas Line Installation
Natural gas line installation needed for pool facility at Govalle Park will require closing of the lot from Dec. 10-14, officials said.
EAST AUSTIN, TEXAS — The paved parking lot adjacent to Govalle Park accessed from Bolm Road will be closed next week to accommodate installation of a needed gas line, city officials said.
The closure of the parking lot will allow natural gas line installation that is necessary for the new pool facility, park officials said in an advisory. The closure begins Monday, Dec. 10 and runs through Friday, Dec. 14.
To gain access to Govalle Park and Southern Walnut Creek Trail during the closure, visitors can enter at the ball field parking lot just east of the closed paved parking lot along Bolm Road, officials said. Park visitors can then use the pedestrian bridge to cross Boggy Creek to go to the playground or bike trail.
