Hurricane Harvey: Airlines At Austin Airport Cancel Flights To, From Houston Airport
Southwest and United cancel flights in light of escalation of tropical storm Harvey, now blamed for at least six deaths.

AUSTIN, TX — In light of the escalation of tropical storm Harvey now being blamed for at least six deaths—five in Houston overnight and one in Rockport, Texas, on Saturday—two airlines have canceled flights to and from Houston.
Southwest Airlines on Sunday canceled all its flights to and from Houston while United Airlines canceled its flights to and from the Houston-Bush airport, according to information found on the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport website.
Austin airport officials advised travelers to verify the status of their flights via their website.

Houston Airport System officials posted their own alerts to their website, advising travelers of more than 700 cancellations and 75 delays into Houston-Bush and more than 125 cancellations and more than 40 delays into the Houston Hobby airport.
