New Restaurant Locates To Austin-Bergstrom International Airport
A South Austin fixture since 1939, Hut's Hamburgers will be built across from Gate 5 while Saxon Pub will relocate to the center concourse.

AUSTIN, TX — Another Austin local eatery is joining the food and beverage scene at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, officials said on Tuesday.
Hut’s Hamburgers will be built across from Gate 5, where The Saxon Pub was formerly located. Construction of Hut’s began May 31 and is anticipated to be completed this year.
Hut’s Hamburgers has been an Austin favorite since 1939 when its first location opened on South Congress Avenue. The restaurant serves natural, fresh, never-frozen hamburgers from Texas-raised beef, as well as a variety of traditional plate dinners, tacos and salads. Menu items include buffalo, longhorn beef, boneless chicken breast and vegan burgers, soft tacos and the chicken fried steak dinner plate, with dessert options such as old-fashioned milkshakes and root beer floats.

Concessionaire Paradies Lagardère operates Hut’s Hamburgers airport location.
The Saxon Pub will relocate to the center concourse, in the area of Ray Benson’s Roadhouse, near Gate 10. Construction is expected to begin this summer and be completed by year’s end, airport officials said. The Saxon Pub airport location is operated by concessionaire Delaware North.MAD Greens is expanding its affordable, fast and healthful dining options to Austin’s airport.

The new concession option will replace Auntie Anne’s, across from Gate 7. Auntie Anne’s ceased operations as of June 1. MAD Greens airport location is operated by concessionaire Paradies Lagardère.MAD Greens serves a variety of salads, grain bowls, wraps, and juices made from raw fruits and vegetables. Gluten-free and vegan options are also available on the menu.
